How to design a disciple making movement among your students.

Did you know that Jesus' disciples were most likely teenagers? That makes Jesus the first Youth Pastor in history.  In all seriousness, Jesus did work with young men and as far as we know never used a water balloon to get their attention. So how did he train this rag tag bunch of young men to change the world? He discipled them.

When you disciple someone you don't invite them to a class or Bible Study, you invite them into your life. That means if they need to learn something you show them in your life, if they need to study scripture, you show them how you do that, and if they need to be like Jesus, you show them how you try to be like Jesus.

This sort of ministry takes energy, time, patience, and a process. In this workshop you will learn how to disciple students, how to invite them into your life, how to follow Jesus, and even learn how to guide them as they make disciples.

The process isn't glamorous nor is it fast growing, but once you set the pace for your students, their families, and the ministry, you will see multiplication happen as God moves among you.

What is a disciple making student ministry? (1 hour)

What sort of process is involved? (1hour)

More is caught than taught. (1hour)

Eating a meal together (1hour)

Moving from where you are to where you want to be (1hour)

What is your process for making disciples and is it working?  Evaluating things now and in the future.  (1hour)

Typically this is Saturday workshop, starting in the morning and moving into early afternoon. This can be designed and adapted for your environment. Give us a call to discuss things.
